Born high in the Colorado Rockies, Red Feather Fly Rods is a small one man operation that has but one pursuit, to build the finest fly rods possible for any angling situation.  I build fly rods mainly for the love of the craft.

There is always a constant search for better blanks, new techniques, and finer components.

Many of the techniques and designs are my own, allowing  me to offer options that are available no where else.

I have satisfied customers from Alaska to Florida, and Pennsylvania to California.

I offer top quality blanks from just about any manufacturer, and my work is unconditionally guaranteed.

Typically I build the finer brands, and build them one at a time, never allowing one order to rush another.

For this reason there is sometimes a waiting period before I can build your special fly rod.
